Kirban Shifter
PHP Short Stick

Hurst Billet/Plus Shifters are sturdily constructed for a positive
precise feel when shifting, and incorporate a high ratio pivot mechanism
for reduced shifter throw. Self centering alignment improves 2nd to 3rd
up-shift gear changes to reduce the chance of “missed shifts”. Patented
adjustable bias spring loads on most models allow stick tension to be tailored
to drivers preference. Reduces the throw by approximately 35% and is
constructed of a CNC machined 6061 T-6 billet aluminum mounting base and
heat treated billet steel gear selector for ultimate strength. The shifter
incorporates gear stops to prevent over shifting and features adjustable
bias springs loads so that stick tension can be tailored to drivers preference
and comfort. Accepts stock shifter knob and boot. Easy install with common tools.

B&M’s technology and experience sets the standard again with the strongest manual
shifters you can buy! Others claim to be the strongest, but nothing on the market
is stronger than the Ripper. Don’t be fooled by claims that ’ultra-strength billet
steel’ is stronger, it isn’t. Just how strong is this shifter? Both the upper and
lower sticks are made from heat treated virgin 17-4 Precipitation Hardened Stainless
Steel and both have a minimum tensile strength of 150,000 psi. B&M knows that while
you’re ripping through the gears, the last thing you need to worry about is whether
your shifter is going to survive. Chances are, the Ripper will be the one thing in
your car you’ll never have to replace!
