The high flow electric water pump for the LS-1 and LS-6 engines is here. Track, dyno, and most importantly, street testing, has proved engines run cooler at low speeds and gain high end horsepower when running Meziere's bolt on LS1/LS6 pump. What do Underdrive Pulleys do? Underdrive pulley systems increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external engine accessories. For example, the alternator, power steering, water pump and air compressor rob horsepower from the engine. By replacing factory-sized crank and accessory drive pulleys with a resized pulley, the accessories are slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to the drive wheels. Typically, a set of Auto Specialties street pulleys will increase horsepower by 12-15, and increase mileage by 2 to 3 MPG. All pulleys are manufactured from Billet Steel or Aluminum, exceeding factory quality.

Higher lift cams and heavier springs rates are stressful to your factory rocker arms. Jesel SS series shaft mount rockers for your LS1, can withstand living in that environment. These rockers reduce friction ( more power ) and high rpm valvetrain stability. Available for hydraulic cams or solid cams. Ratios available are 1.7:1, 1.9:1, or 2.1:1. Valve cover spacers are required. Our valve cover spacers are custom made to our specifications, they come with all necessary hardware for an easy installation. Our valve cover spacers utilize factory o-ring style gaskets, which are included. Also included are the valve cover bolt extensions. Longer spark plug wires are also required.





Rollmaster's double-roller timing-chain set is a perfect compliment to our high-performance camshafts and other LS1/LS6 engine components. It offers greatly enhanced strength and accuracy compared with the stock piece and even allows for timing adjustments (advance or retard) of up to 8 degrees. This set contains an adjustable nine-keyway nitrated crankshaft sprocket; a torrington bearing; a double-row chain; a nitrated camshaft sprocket; two oil-pump-spacer plates; detailed instructions; and all necessary installation hardware. Compatible with all 1997-03 "Gen III" engines (LS1/LS6, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L).

Racers know that a cooler running engine is a better performing engine. Reducing the temperature at which an engine runs will make more power through better thermal and volumetric efficiency. This new thermostat replaces the factory 195º unit, allowing coolant to circulate at lower engine temperatures, keeping the engine cooler. Not legal for use on pollution controlled vehicles. Just installing this will not make your car run cooler, you will need the fans to come on earlier. Let us reprogram your computer to make your car run as cool as possible.

NGK's patented v-groove design allows the ignition system to easily spark in these dense air/fuel mixtures. The flame kernel will quickly grow and allow the engine to potentially make more power since it now is operating more efficiently.

As an added bonus, the v-groove forcing the spark to the outer edge of the ground electrode helps reduce the "quenching" effect, reducing misfires caused by high cylinder pressures "blowing out" the spark.





Designed to replace the stock sintered powdered metal caps, we have gone one step further and use dowel for locating them versus register walls that shear with repeated assembly. For shops doing major mods and frequent changes, this is a must to keep from eventually shearing the aluminum locating register walls away completely. Two, quarter inch steel dowels hold the cap locations precisely.




When using the ATI Damper, we have seen a resonance around 4,000 RPM that may cause the belt to jump off the stock tensioner. The solution to this is a solid, adjustable tensioner that directly replaces the stock spring tensioner.

The growing popularity of General Motors LS1 engines has prompted ARP’s engineering team to develop a series of high performance fasteners for the LS1/LS6 powerplant now finding its way into street machines and street rods. New to ARP’s lineup are rod bolts, head and main studs, head bolts, header studs, accessory studs, flywheel bolts and balancer bolts for the LS1.





One of the most important aspects to keeping an engine running efficiently and reliably is proper cooling. If you’re engine overheats or runs hot, it will never perform up to your expectations and won’t last for the life expectancy it should. To combat over-heating and high operating temperatures in Camaros and Firebirds, SLP now offers a high-capacity radiator that features approximately 50% more core surface area, allowing a dramatic increase in cooling ability. One of the easiest ways to obtain optimum performance from your car is to run it at proper operating temperature. As soon as you run it hot, (stock fans are set to activate at 215 ) performance goes downhill. To help combat high-operating temperatures, the engineers at SLP Performance Parts have come up with the easy-to-install Fan Control Switch. What this does is allow you to turn you car’s electric coolant fans on manually, yet still retain stock fan operation. So, if you’re sitting in traffic or at the track waiting in the staging lanes between rounds, you can click on your fans early to aid in keeping your engine operating efficiently and producing as much power as possible. Lowering your engine’s operating temperature will not only increase performance, it will add reliability and longer engine life, by decreasing the stress cause by heat fatigue.
